AgroServ, in a Nutshell

Faced with complex challenges that range from agricultural land depletion, the loss of biodiversity and the growing scarcity of natural resources, AgroServ aims to adapt our current agricultural production methods to continue producing agricultural goods while concomitantly maintaining, preserving, and adapting ecosystems to current and future global change challenges.

The aim

The key objective of AgroServ is to provide research-resource services that address questions in multiple areas: ecological processes applied to farming, climate change adaptation and mitigation, carbon sequestration, pest and disease control, and soil health, among others. It was launched with the vision for more balanced, resilient, and sustainable agroecosystems that would contribute to safeguard animal, human and ecosystem wellbeing while increasing the capacity of handling and managing their complex system of interdependencies.
